Questions server owners ask
Do applicants need a Discord account?
Yes. Applicants sign in with Discord — it captures their ID automatically, stops impersonation, and lets us DM them updates and give them roles.
Do I need to install anything on my FiveM server?
No. If you use txAdmin, turn on its Discord-role whitelist and point it at the role we assign. The Lua resource is optional (Essential and Pro) for extra features like license linking and alt detection.
The bot can't give roles — what's wrong?
Almost always the role hierarchy: Discord only lets a bot assign roles below its own. Our Discord page runs a checker and shows exactly which role to drag above which.
Can we charge players to be whitelisted?
No — and we won't build that. Cfx.re's platform rules don't allow selling server access, and we don't want your server at risk.
What about applicants' data? Many are under 18.
We collect the minimum: applicants' Discord ID and their answers. Age questions store the age only, never a date of birth. Denied applications are auto-deleted after a retention period you choose, and applicants can export or delete their data at any time.
